Fabric Sans Display amplifies the features that constitute Fabric Sans. While the text cut is restrained, the titling version is considerably more assertive. The spacing is tighter, apertures narrower, and the contrast higher. Fabric Sans Display adds two compact widths to the editorial palette, developed in collaboration with Robin Mientjes.
The Fabric Collection is conceived as an overarching concept. Sans and Serif share the same structural foundation: curve tension, energy, rhythm and metrics, but deviate in morphology and detailing. This means they can combine inline without falling flat, but also tie a common thread through a complex typographical hierarchy.
